What this site is

CreatorKit (https://www.trycreatorkit.com) provides free browser-based tools for YouTube creators. This policy explains what data is (and isn't) collected when you use the site.

Information you provide to tools

Most tools on this site (Thumbnail Downloader, Thumbnail Preview Tester, Hashtag Generator, Earnings Calculator, Description Generator) run entirely in your browser — anything you type or upload is processed on your device and is never sent to our servers.

A few tools send your input to a server in order to work:

• The Title Generator and Hook Generator send the topic/details you enter to Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions. We do not store this input after the request completes.
• The Tag Extractor, Comment Picker, and Channel ID Finder send the YouTube URL or handle you enter to the YouTube Data API (operated by Google) to retrieve public data about that video or channel. We do not store this input after the request completes.

YouTube API Services disclosure

Tools on this site that use the YouTube Data API Services are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. By using those tools, you also acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies and advertising

We may use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. We also use standard web server logs and analytics that may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to understand site usage and detect abuse.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
